haha i decided to go to schl today and i took the three tests ! haha how brave am i man. the maths and chemistry tests were a confirm fail. dont have gc, dont know how to draw the graphs also. haha and i couldnt complete any chemistry questions lol. and physics, i got 6/22. so gotta go for retest again. lol bloody.

went back to chung cheng today ! :D:D i pon colosseum, heard that triton won ! yay yay. haha anyways i really miss chung cheng alot. after collecting the olevels certificate with shutzu and michelle and yihui, we went to look for teachers ! haha saw miss tay, mr davamoni, mr soon, mrs pereira, mr lee.. :) it was really nice talking to them again. really miss the secondary schl times. those days were really fun and memorable.

somehow chung cheng gives me a more homely feeling. haha its like, almost everyone knows everyone. and lessons were more fun. the people were really nice. :) and its much slacker la. can go out almost everyday. but in jc, haha, totally different. i miss the teachers in chung cheng. miss my class. :( i want to go back to chung cheng !!

my dad came to singapore yesterday midnight, left to indonesia this morning, and came back again tonight. hahaha.

anyway i really dont feel like going school tomorrow. got maths test ( i have no GC ), chemistry retest ( i have no MC ) and physics retest ( i am not prepared! ). grrr.. im so screwed up. haha and there's colosseum tomorrow, and i dont feel like going. going back to chung cheng to collect olevels certificate anyways. :D I MISS CHUNG CHENG !! i miss the secondary school times.. and my dearest 4 justice. sighs.

really feel like quitting school now - school makes me feel depressed. its freaking tiring me out, and i feel more and more alone these few days. perhaps its due to my mood swings and whatever. find myself drifting further away from everyone. constantly finding myself being alone. haha. wells thats the way it is. :) feel like staying at home and rot my days away.

AND THEY COUNTED IT AS A GOAL! wah, super cheater la. so pissed. weiwen was still talking when the ball just rolled pass him and the RJ guy went to collect the ball. sia la. not only that, the match is FORFEITED. reason? the last 3 minutes wasnt played as there was thunder and lightning. and the whole freaking match is NOT counted. wah, you think RJ can score 4 goals in 3 minutes ah?! haha please lor. went to church today. :) was supposed to meet ken for breakfast, but as usual i woke up late. hehe sorry ken! service was great. the drama team did a terrific job. i teared a little. but when pastor kong started to pray, and when he talked about backsliders, i started to cry.. i've been backsliding for three times over the past three years. i dont know why.. why cant i stay committed? i love God, and i want to glorify His name. i want to win the lost for Him. i want to have a strong relationship with God.. let this be the last time i backslide. i hope i'll stay strong spiritually from now on.

anyway after service, i went to meet ziqi, guoguang and weiwen to study at the usual place - tampines interchange mac. kept laughing and laughing la. haha thats what you get when you put guoguang and weiwen together. lol. and we wanted to study physics, but failed to. haha there's physics test this coming friday! oh no oh no.

IM SO TIRED!

haha i just got back not long ago. :) spent my whole day with my dearest people from S403. went to meet ziqi and gerard at about 11.30am at tampines mrt. we went there to study okay! we're like so super hardworking. lol anyway me and ziqi was there first, so we walked over to tamp int mac. then we saw alot of meridians, and we realised that it was because of flag day! then sheauwei ask me to donate, and i realised that I DIDNT BRING MY WALLET OUT! i feel so super dumb can. haha. neverminds.

then me, ziqi and gerard STUDIED at macs, while waiting for guoguang, weiwen and canphylia. haha the three of us get bored super easily la. haha and we were daydreaming more than we were studying. lol and ziqi is always so random. laughing at random things. saying random stuffs. then canphylia came, and we decided to go my house to take my wallet cause weiwen decided not to come. but guoguang came. :)

so anyway, we slacked at my house for awhile. cause its really quite impossible to study in my house la. haha then we left at about 5:30pm. met josh and kumhung at kembangan mrt, then we went to somerset together. weiwen and wysen were waiting already. hahah. we saw S401 1st 2 months there.. hahah anyways, we went to cineleisure to buy movie tickets - keeping mum - and have dinner at pastamania. :) oh, and we took neoprint!! the 10 of us. hahah i love it.




the movie is pretty good. very funny. :D hahaha. anyway after that, we wanted to play pool, but there was no table. so we decided to go to esplanade instead. and guess what? its weiwen's first visit to esplanade! woohoo!! we saw S401 1st 2 months over there also la. haha then they say we're stalking them. err ha.. anyways, we walked to fullerton and took a couple of pictures. then continued walking, searching for a 7-eleven. lol and WE FINALLY FOUND ONE!! then we ate ice-cream together. lol. what a loving group.. hahaha. guoguang treat me ice-cream! yay thank you xiaoguang. :D then we catched the last train home. :) then when i was walking home, i saw michael jogging! haha he's so super hardworking la. then he walked me home. :) thanks mike.. good luck for CT next week!

anyway, when we were walking out of school, there was this group of malay guys who walked past us. then they were like, "eh where are you guys from ah?" then we were like, "huh?" and they went, "do you guys have change for $50-note?" errr.. weird way of starting a conversation. haha whatever. so we just said no and walked away. then after that we left for town.

okay somehow, the three of us always lands in orchard once a week. haha we went there together last friday and took neoprints together. what to do? they're my only friend. hahaha. right, ziqi and canphylia? :D our main purpose was to search for a nice bag so we can buy it together. then we'll have the same bag. haha. but somehow, there seem to be NO nice bags around at all. so irritating. we need fashion designers.

walked from heeren to far east. back and forth. as usual. haha we went window shopping only. cause firstly, we didnt see anything thats really nice. and secondly, we're all broke. hahaha. i want to shop so badly! oh, and the three of us were on the escalator. we were like standing on one level la, that canphylia, butt in between me and ziqi. hahah then this malay guy from the escalator on the opposite direction went, "charlie's angels!" we were like, what the heck. and we started laughing like crazy. hahaha. we always meet strange people when the three of us are together lol.

anyway, S403 class outing this saturday night! gonna play pool and watch movie. (what movie do you guys want to watch anyway? wei wen suggested watching ice age 2 or keeping mum.) and have dinner together i guess. :) looking forward to it. I LOVE MY CLASS!!

the girls of S403 were crying today, when they found out that canphylia is leaving mjc to np. during physics lecture, when i wrote "canphylia's leaving" on weehian's lecture notes, my eyes started to tear. im so gonna miss that girl. she's the one i'm closest to in S403. life in MJC will be so different without her.. i'll miss her penmanship-style-letters. i'll miss our gossiping sessions. i'll miss going home with her. i'll miss having her around..

but everyone cheered up after a while. :) cant expect us to stay gloomy all day right. haha. then something funny happened during econs lecture! okay, its private and confidential, and can only be kept among me, canphylia and jw :D

oh, and i left my phone in class today! i only realised that my phone wasnt with me when we were in another class having physics tutorial. i got a shock of my life when cleo called and i didnt feel any vibrations. then canphylia shouted, "eh weehian, how come jesslyn's phone is with you ah?!" FREAK ! haha they didnt tell me they took my phone. grrr i almost cried la. haha. thanks weehian. i shant be so forgetful anymore. i shall learn to treasure my phone more! :D

me and canphylia skipped basketball training today. haha we went to have lunch with cleo, iris, and 2 other dunmanites at west mall. then me and canphylia went to tampines mall. super boring place. lala.

woohooo ! today's soccer match totally rocked. :D haha MJC did really well. and our dearest wei wen and guo guang both played in the match ! yay S403 is so proud of them. i think wei wen is a really good goal keeper. haha he should be in first team instead of second team ! wei wen, you rock ! :D

and today is kumhung's and iris's podium rally. they did well. congrats guys ! and our class was publicising for the two of them today. so, VOTE FOR #20 (kumhung) AND #25 (iris goh) ! you wont regret your choice. :D

belated post for 6 April 2005.

i shall just blog a summarised version of the post yesterday. hehe anyway, yesterday was fun! :D we got back our econs test ! i got 5/20. so terrible eh. haha but everybody in S403 got a single-digit mark. lol. anyway, thats not the fun part of the day - obviously.

after school ended, we went to watch soccer match ! heh the first match was SAJC against ACJC. at first SA was leading with the score of 2-0, but at the second half of the game, ACJC catched up. so the final score was 2-2. :D not bad.

the second match was MJC against AJC. but i didnt stay for the match, cause i left with huiping. went to SAJC's life concert. :D shall talk about it in the later part of the post. haha anyway, MJC WON WITH THE SCORE OF 3-2 ! yay yay yay. guo guang won a penalty kick. hehe and now, he's so well known. haha !

so anyway, i got the life concert tickets from chiaw sang. cause he got one extra ticket, so he ask me to go lo. met another 2 of his classmates, went together. it was quite alright la, kinda boring. was expecting a higher ambience you know. didnt really feel God's presence there. not every single person was praising/worshipping God. haha it was just lacking of something. gosh, i miss city harvest.

after the concert ended, we went to eat dinner together. after that the two girls when home by mrt, me and chiaw sang took bus together. he sent me to kembangan, then my grandpa fetched me from the mrt. haha thanks for the offer to walk me home though. :)

that ended the day. i forgot the funny thing that happened yesterday. dang.

PE was super tiring today. haha ran around the track and did some jumping exercise. muscles are aching now. haha i hate PE lessons. and yay peishi gave me something really really nice for international friendship week. :) she's so so so sweet. love her loads. :D dont be jealous after you see what she made. hurs.




anyway, i went back to chung cheng today ! with darling canphylia and dearest ziqi. haha we went there to support MJC's table tennis match against SAJC, but it was kinda boring so we left halfway. anyway MJ won SA for the singles! yays. but we lost for the doubles. haha and oh, we met so many weird people today. when we alighted the bus at chung cheng bus stop, some guy we dont know said bye to us. haha.

oh, and my darling nicole rachel gave me chocolates ! so sweet. :D she's always giving me chocolates and other goodies. especially during exam period last year. :) i love nicole ! she's such a sweetie.

after that we took bus to bugis. and there was this weird guy sitting beside ziqi. he was looking at this 2 girls and touching his *ahem*. i think he is so freaking sick la. disgusting old man.

walked bugis for awhile, then decided to go to somerset. cos honestly, bugis is super extremely boring. haha. then at city hall mrt station, canphylia got hit on by some *aherms*. hur anyway, we decided to go heeren, cause like i said in my previous post, there's loads of cute guys in heeren. not the shoppers, but the shopkeepers. lol. and anyway, we saw this green puma bag which is really very nice! i am so gonna get it. canphylia/ziqi ! wanna get it together? haha.. and there's another nike bag which is also really nice. :D gosh, i need to go shopping!

after that, we walked to far east. there was this group of girls who kept staring at us la. ha.. and all the CJC people were staring at us too. cause our uniform colour are super similar. so yeah. :D haha, had early dinner at KFC. then we walked past this 2 guys. and they were like, "thats meridian jc right?" and they kept looking at us. i dont get whats the deal about MJC ! haha all i know is that MJC ROCKS ! woohoo~

oh, and we were searching orchard's 7-eleven(s) to find hip-hop jelly ! so retarded right. haha cause it was out of stock in school today. its so IN now la. everyone's eating it. and ziqi cant live without it. :D

after that, we walked back to heeren. haha super lame. my leg wanted to break already la. and we decided to take neoprints ! its the first neoprint i took with my mj uniform haha. before we took the actual neoprints, we took a couple of pics with my hp. we look quite spastic. haha ! and look at the difference between canphylia and ziqi's eyes ! i think the pic is super funny la. hahaha.

after that, we left. :) i had a great time today with the two wonderful girls :D hehe love them loads! and.. i may be re-blogging my post about yesterday. haha let's see how bored i am later. OH, and im going out with DL people tomorrow! and studying with S403 after that. yay :)

SCHOOL SCHOOL SCHOOL !

just got home from school. had our first CCA training today - BASKETBALL ! yay. there's like only 6 girls in basketball recreational lar ! and there's like 20 plus guys. so retarded. and out of the 6 girls, 2 are PRCs who will stay only for one term. and i'm leaving after this term too. and another girl wants to quit basketball recre to go to choir. and canphylia might be leaving to temasek poly. so? 1 girl left?! hahaha ! so spastic.

hmm school was alright. nothing much happened. had debate for GP lessons. the motion is: "This house bans arranged marriage." and we're the opposition lar ! haha its like, so difficult. but we won it in the end anyways. girls are just so pro. haha ! :D and we had econs test today. i didnt do the 9 marks question, so i'll fail it for sure. i may even get 0 man. let's see how it goes then.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO IRIS GOH ! the first person to celebrate his/her birthday this year in S403. most of us are october/november babies. :D haha.

today was really really fun ! :D im so enjoying school, well except for the lectures and tutorials and tests, and of course, PE LESSONS. haha. :D 06S403 is the besteresterest class ever !

anyway we spent recess time together (as usual) and we were taking pictures (as usual). after recess was project work, and i was so bored. so i wrote a note to abigail - who was sitting next to me. and abigail wrote something to wysen - who was sitting on the other side of her. and wysen wrote to kah wee - who was on his other side. and so on and so forth. haha so the paper was passed down the whole row and everyone was contributing a lil something. kinda retarded. and we continued it during maths lecture. :D haha !

after PW, we had econs tutorial with mr hon (our CT). and we used up about half the period cutting cake and taking pictures. :D it was fun. we finally have a complete class photo! yay yay yay! anyway when mr hon started teaching, i was sitting beside randy/kahwee/junwen. then they were passing the cake around the class and i was like declining. then wee hian said, "oh yah, she want to jian fei (lose weight)". and that junwen say, "i want to zheng fei (gain weight) leh." i so feel like killing him. that guy is 45kg only la ! and he kept asking whats my weight as he claims that im heavier than him. but obviously, girls dont like to disclose their personal information. hahah.

after that was lunch break. and we spent it together again. haha were chit-chatting/taking pictures - as usual. and that gay kelvin dirtied my skirt. idiot. haha oh and today, i found out that kah wee is quite lame. haha he may look quiet, but looks are deceiving you see. :)

maths lecture totally sucked - i dont understand a single thing. im like really blur for the whole chapter of functions. screw it. ha. and we had a skill b trial 1 (physics practical) today. and i think that wei wen is damn funny la. cause most of us did wrongly, then wei wen was like, "aiya, we go home and re-do lah!" haha what the!? you have a physics lab in your house?! lol. and he and that gay kelvin are so childish. keep hitting each other with the ruler. lol :D

wanted to study/do homework in school today. so me/abigail/canphylia/iris found an empty bench in the atrium. then junwen came to join us. haha but in the end, canphylia decided that she wanna go home. so junwen went for choir and iris went for student council, and the three of us left the school together. OH NO. THE THREE GOSSIP QUEENS TOGETHER!? hahaha.

oh, its international friendship week! hehe and S403 is playing this game. like, we draw lots for a name - which remains anonymous - and we have to give the person something (notes/chocolates/presents/etc) everyday for the rest of the week. haha and obviously, its for the opposite sex la. haha. :D kinda fun, hehe.

sadly, we didnt take any pictures today, so there's no pictures for me to post up. tomorrow okay? there'll be pictures for all to enjoy, promise! :D

i doubt im going to pass my econs test tomorrow. and i think i'll just get killed by mr hon for both my hair and for my PI. haha i hate PW - its the most horrible subject ever. its even worse than chinese. HELLLP! :(

im tired, and i want to sleep. but there's so much work to do.

big achievement today! :D i did my homework okay! finished my GP, chemistry, physics. but still got PW and econs, which i will complete tmr. haha. JC life really sucks aye. everyone's a nerd man, seriously. our life revolves around schoolwork! :D

honestly this is the most boring weekend ever. i've done basically nothing - except doing hw and moping around the house. i so need to get a life. haha.

anyway there's a soccer match tmr! MJC vs. ACJC. go MJ! you can do it. :D and oh, we're gonna study for econs tomorrow after school! yay :) S403 rocks. oh yes, do you guys want to have a study group every saturday? cause me, gerard and cleo seem to have problems studying at home during weekends. hahaha. and i believe that study groups are useful! so yes, S403?

One day a teacher asked her students to list the names of the other students in the room on two sheets of paper, leaving a space between each name. Then she told them to think of the nicest thing they could say about each of their classmates and write it down. It took the remainder of the class period to finish their assignment, and as the students left the room, each one handed in the papers.

That Saturday, the teacher wrote down the name of each student on a separate sheet of paper, and listed what everyone else had said about that individual. On Monday she gave each student his or her list. Before long, the entire class was smiling.

"Really?" she heard whispered. "I never knew that I meant anything to anyone!" and, "I didn't know others liked me so much." were most of the comments.

No one ever mentioned those papers in class again. She never knew if they discussed them after class with their parents, but it didn't matter. The exercise had accomplished its purpose. The students were happy with themselves and one another. That group of students moved on.

Several years later, one of the students was killed in Vietnam and his teacher attended the funeral of that special student. She had never seen a serviceman in a military coffin before. He looked so handsome, so mature. The church was packed with his friends. One by one those who loved him took a last walk by the coffin. The teacher was the last one to bless the coffin. As she stood there, one of the soldiers who acted as pallbearer came up to her.

"Were you Mark's math teacher?", he asked. She nodded and said, "Yes." Then he said: "Mark talked about you a lot." After the funeral, most of Mark's former classmates went together to a luncheon. Mark's mother and father were there, obviously waiting to speak with his teacher. "We want to show you something," his father said, taking a wallet out of his pocket. "They found this on Mark when he was killed. We thought you might recognize it."

Opening the billfold, he carefully removed two worn pieces of notebook paper that had obviously been taped, folded and refolded many times. The teacher knew without looking that the papers were the ones on which she had listed all the good things each of Mark's classmates had said about him.

"Thank you so much for doing that," Mark's mother said. "As you can see, Mark treasured it." All of Mark's former classmates started to gather around. Charlie smiled rather sheepishly and said, "I still have my list. It's in the top drawer of my desk at home." Chuck's wife said, "Chuck asked me to put his in our wedding album." "I have mine too," Marilyn said. "It's in my diary." Then Vicki, another classmate, reached into her purse and showed her frazzled list to the group. "I carry this with me at all times, " Vicki said and without batting an eyelash, she continued: "I think we all saved our lists."

That's when the teacher finally sat down and cried. She cried for Mark and for all his friends who would never see him again.

The density of people in society is so thick that we forget that life will end one day. And we don't know when that one day will be. So please, tell the people you love and care for, that they are special and important. Tell them, before it is too late.

Live every day like it's you last, and never look back. Just remember the people you meet and the lessons you learn along the way.

haha she tricked me lar. she smsed me saying something like, "jesslyn, did gerard msg you? he said he got into an accident and is in hospital now. want to go visit him?" AND I WAS LIKE "OMG!?! REALLY!?" cause i forgot what day is it today. and she smsed me back saying, "check your calendar and see what date is it today girl." ohmahgosh la. i feel so cheated. haha. i feel so dumb.

and then, canphylia tried the same trick on me on MSN la. haha so yes, i didnt get tricked already. :D aprils fool day should be on weekdays, it'll be more fun. haha. but yes, whatever la.

06S403 is going to shrink, with me going overseas and some people having the mindset of quitting jc and going poly. gotta cherish the time we have now.. i'll miss the class so much, seriously. they're a bunch of great, fun-loving, lovely and wonderful people who knows how to study and have fun. honestly, we should have another class outing soon. :D

freak, next week's gonna be real tough. there'll be 2.4km run on monday, followed by basketball training on wednesday *yeah i know i know.. jesslyn in basketball.. HAHAHA*, make-up PE on thursday morning at 6.45am, and PE on friday! ohmahgosh. we'll be a fit bunch of people by the end of next week.

i have the sudden cravings for starbucks coffee - thanks to heng min ru.

AND OH GOSH I JUST REMEMBERED SOMETHING. WE'VE GOT AN ECONS TEST ON TUESDAY!! :(:(

what major should i take in college? business? architecture? interior design?

i so want to get into university of california, berkeley / university of california, los angeles / princeton university / harvard university. freak, those top universities. so difficult to get in. only 10% of those who apply can get in.

maybe i shouldnt have such big dreams that are too far for me to reach..
